How a nursery should look like?
The following is one of our proposals for nursery equipment. This is an example for a nursery classroom for 2 to 3 years.
The first thing: the students put their little things
First, we must consider the coat racks, in which children will place their backpacks and their coats. We should put them at a height that the children reach by themselves, so that they acquire the routine of arriving and placing their things. To facilitate this routine, they usually put their photographs, so that they easily identify their hanger.
We can find from the most complete lockers with hangers to the simplest coat hangers.

After: We will organize our stuff.
In our nursery classroom for 2 to 3 years we should also have a couple of furniture to store the material itself. We could keep the image and sound equipment: TV, radio…
Although the number and type of closet depends of course on the preferences of the director of the center or of the educator.

The drawer cabinets are also interesting, since they let you to store the stationery material and the games in an organized way.
And now it’s time to pay attention and work a little
In the middle of the classroom we will locate the area of chairs and tables. It is important to consider all the requirements of MOE policies and standards.
We have different types of chair materials: plastic, wood, wood and metal structure…
Children also want to play and have fun in the playground
We must place a playground. We like to create a play corner with EPDM and soft floors.
We also like to place a board at a very low height, so that children can draw. In this corner we could also locate the symbolic play corner with toys and games.

Clean and neat children
There must be also a hygiene zone in the classroom itself.
Good hygiene is important in childcare centers to minimize the spread of infections amongst children and adults and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Instilling proper hygiene practices in children from an early age will help them establish good hygiene habits that will remain with them throughout their lives.
